For An Angel

Pick to win it all, everyone watching, everyone expecting this big team. Bull's eye's on our backs from day one. Teams saying lets just go out and beat Bucksport, that was many teams goals. Only one got the chance to do it, only one. This football season had tears shedding everywhere, love ones lost, family was lost on the team. We lost a sister. I'm sure everyone would give everything up just to have her back with us during the season.

We were playing great football, stomping out everyone one by one. We intimidated people left and right everyone afraid to play in the Buck Dome. Here we come led by the cruiser flashing lights, loud noises and people screaming for us. We get on the field captains meet. It seemed like we always won the toss. Here comes kick return every team being wise not kicking to Josh and I but kicking it short. Whatever game it was we played out hearts out we played like champions.

There was one specific game. This game made the season it wasn't us going undefeated in the east, it wasn't us winning Easter Maine's Class C football. It was after the incident that changes who or what we played for. We now played for an Angel, we played for Taylor. Wearing pink for her, respecting and playing our hearts for her. We bled pink, puked purple, and cried gold. We came out against Orono some sad, some mentally not there whatever the case. We had a mission win this for her and keep winning for her.

We came out TD stickers on our helmets all of us wearing pink, It was now game time. We were getting our asses kicked left and right, offense wasn't working, defense I don't know where we were. Losing as we entered the half, Sank pissed off as well as the other coaches. We trying our best but we knew in our hearts that we had to dig down and play Bucksport Football.( Bucksport Football = hard work, intimidating others, group tackling, never back down, play together, and certainly never give up) It was now the second half. We did everything right hit them, out played them, never gave up. Ran the ball done their throat, and we left that field victorious and happy.
